Periscope Depth in the Primordial Sea

Photographed on: 11/12/2006

Object(s) photographed: Paint, rust, scratches and welding on a thick sheet of metal.

This was actually on the plate of steel / iron that was set between the bed portion of an old flat bed truck and the cab. As I photographed this on my stomach the driver walked over and stared at me. I asked him if he minded but never received a reply . . . Just an unbroken stare as I finally finished, got off the bed walked to my car and drove away. Even then, I noticed in my rear view mirror, he was still staring, expressionlessly, at me as I disappeared behind a warehouse.

All photographs are printed with archival papers and inks by Artist, and are mounted with acid-free mat boards (16" X 20"). All are limited editions and are protected by copyright.
