Les Demoiselles d'Avignon after the Apocalypse
Photographed on: 1/3/2009
Object(s) photographed: Peeling paint, rust, debris on corrugated metal wall of shipyard warehouse.
After hearing more than one of my friends say it vaguely reminds them of Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, I decided to go with that impression and give a little more oomph. Thus the spice of post-apocalypse was added.
All photographs are printed with archival papers and inks by Artist, and are mounted with acid-free mat boards (16" X 20"). All are limited editions and are protected by copyright.
