Object(s) photographed: Rust, debris, scratches, dye, shadows and paint fragment on an iron truss of a railroad bridge.
This interplay of light and shadows on a surface with reoccurring shapes haunts me. I'm reminded of certain dreams where I'm in an unexplored world: an alluring forest with endless capillaries of waterways. There is primitivism and nudity, otherworldly orchestral music etc, but it is all so new. This is both an abstract image, as well as part of my 'In The Shadows' series.
All photographs are printed with archival papers and inks by Artist, and are mounted with acid-free mat boards (16" X 20"). All are limited editions and are protected by copyright.
